Andrew and I would like to take an opportunity to thank you and the team for the exceptional level of service which we received throughout the process of purchasing our new Kia Carnival Platinum.
Being a large family of 7, we outgrew our SUV and decided to make the move to a larger style people mover for optimum space and comfort for our entire family. The Kia Carnival was on our shortlist for purchase alongside 2 European brand people movers.
It quickly became evident to us that the Kia was unbeatable on three very important factors for our family; safety, value for money and style. However, it wasn’t only these three important stand out features that led to our purchase.
Your personable customer service, your knowledge of the Kia brand, and the welcoming atmosphere of the showroom really made the choice and the transition to purchase the vehicle a pleasurable experience. As you would remember, each time we visited the showroom we had our twin toddlers with us.
Not only were the twins kept safe and happy in the large playpen in the showroom while we viewed the Carnival and made arrangements to loan the vehicle for a test drive, but at times they were engaged in play with the wonderful office girls and yourself. That was a lovely bonus and our nerves about taking twin toddlers to a car showroom quickly diminished.
This was not a shared experience with the European car dealerships which we had visited.

Although we hadn’t set out to buy new, Lloyd took his time to show us the features of the Cerato and gave us the opportunity to test drive the car in varying conditions. We were very impressed with what the Cerato had to offer, and the backing that Kia themselves and Toowong Kia offer customers.

My husband and I recently purchased our first ever brand new car through Kia Toowong. After spending weeks researching the perfect car for our growing family, looking and test driving cars we were finding the whole process quite draining and somewhat stressful! We had dealt with rude salesmen and salesmen that would call us non-stop.
Luckily for us we came across a lovely looking Kia Sorento for sale. We took the drive down to Toowong and were greeted by Chris Allan. He made the whole process extremely stress free and smooth. He spent his time going over the details of the car, took us for a great test drive and made us feel very comfortable. Then when it came to the usually painful part of sitting down and negotiating that all important deal, Chris once again made sure that we were comfortable and explained each step in the process. He remained calm when negotiating the deal and we never felt rushed or pushed into making a decision. He gave us our time to discuss it which was greatly appreciated. Once we decided to go ahead with the purchase he then explained how the next few steps would work and who we would need to speak with going forward. Although wehadn’t dealt with Kia Toowong before, we found the experience quite satisfying.
In particular, our Salesman Julian McDougall conducted himself in a very friendly, professional manner. He learnt about our needs and requirements up front and grasped a good understanding of our position and needs. He then set out to work out the best deal for us.
He advised us that there was a particular deal going on within the company and gave us the opportunity to upgrade our choice of vehicle to the model above,with not much additional cost. There was absolutely no pressure on his behalf and he patiently waited for us to make a decision and helped us weigh up the advantages vs disadvantages. For us it had to be a win/win situation.
At the end of the day we were very happy with our overall deal and the service we received from Julian. We felt he was there to bat for us and help us get the best deal on the day.
We recently purchased a Sorento from Julian McDougall, after visiting Toowong Kia for a first & inquisitive look at Kia’s.

My family especially loves the moon roof, giving a really open and large feel inside the SUV. When it comes to business, there is space for cartons and a variety of our dehumidifier products , looks great when arriving at a customers home/business.

After comparing numerous compact SUV’s on the market, I found a Sportage SLI on Car Sales and it was located at Toowong Kia / Mitsubishi. I decided to go to the dealership to test drive a Sportage and find out more about it in person.
On the Friday I went to the dealership at Toowong, it was really busy and the Kia salesmen were all out taking customers for test drives (good sign I thought). I was fortunate enough to be looked after by Natasha. Even though Natasha is a Mitsubishi car salesperson, she was able to help me with the Sportage.
The Sportage exceeded my expectations and it certainly won my vote in comparison to other cars I was considering.
Natasha was fantastic in the negotiation. Not once did I feel pushed or any pressure. I felt like Natasha was working with me as a team to make the deal happen. If only all car dealerships worked that way!!! After some back and forth negotiations, Natasha made the deal happen to my budget and the needs of my family. She went above and beyond!
Once the order for the car was in motion, Chris from the Kia side of Toowong Kia/Mitsubishi took over in securing a vehicle. Given Sportages are in demand, finding the model I was after was something Chris did in no time at all. Less than two weeks from the Friday I bought the car, I took receipt of it.

I bought a Kia Optima Platinum at the end of Jan. Michael Jones was the sales person. I found the whole sales experience very refreshing and very different to all the other car dealerships that I spoke to.
In particular, I found the approach of Michael, your team (including you) very friendly, approachable, straight and accurate, and if they didn’t have the answer straight away they said so, checked it out and got back to me. In contrast, many other sales people (at other dealerships) if they didn’t know the answer to something, they just made it up, or ignored the question. It was terrible.
Rather than an the immature, pressure-based, sales approach of other dealerships, I found your teams sales approach as a mature, smooth, solutions-selling one with a high level of attention to detail and customer service. Even on pickup, I noticed your team gathering information to improve their sales performance as well as to be personable with me. Something hard to find in the industry!! I would like to encourage you and your team to keep up this high standard. It made you guys stand out from the rest. Whilst it may not have the “now” effect of pressure selling it will result in a higher level of return business, referrals and customer satisfaction, key things for longevity of a business.

I just wanted to thank yourself and your team for the fantastic service we received when we bought our new Kia Cerato. We went in pretty sure that the Cerato was the car we wanted, and you only confirmed that for us. Where most people think a test drive just involves driving around the back streets, you actually demonstrated the features of the car. You showed us how the Bluetooth works, took us up on the highway so we could see how it handles at speed, and actually applied the brakes to show us the safety features. Finally got around to responding to you – have been fairly busy with multiple family activities, and haven’t meant to ignore you. Thank you & Frank for the ‘photo.
We would like to acknowledge & thank yourself & Leighton (alias Smith & Jones?) for your dealings with us. The inspiration to investigate a Kia Sorento for our next car came from the Toowoomba dealership. His demonstration and discussions with us convinced us that the Sorento was the car for us. A bit of searching the SE Qld sources led us to your Toowong dealership. We discussed the issue with other dealers and attended another dealership with serious intent then settled on Toowong KIA after discussions (negotiations) with yourself. You persevered and took the offer and counter-offers to other outlets to conclude an agreeable result, which we were comfortable with. That persistence paid off with the resultant sale. We felt that you actually listened and made the extra effort to accommodate our 2 trade-in cars deal.
All of our dealings with you and your support staff have been informative and pleasant, even providing answers to questions we didn’t know to ask. We left your dealership feeling comfortable that we were looked after and attended to. After a run from Brisbane up to the Sunshine Coast then return to Toowoomba via Kilcoy we are convinced that the Sorento is THE right car for us, made possible by you. In direct comparisons with our previous vehicle (2007 Ford Territory); the comfort, quietness, smoothness and all around feel of the Sorento was superb and comes out way in front. There was noticeably reduced road and vehicle noise (engine and transmission – drivetrain) a more sure-footed road holding feel with reduced body roll and effortless power and driving performance in the twisty hills. The seat comfort and support for both of us in the front was excellent, without no need for either of us to continually readjust our seating position as we had become accustomed to in the Territory – just didn’t need to move about as before. Superb motoring!
Overall the Sorento has been a very pleasant, excellent package made possible for us by you and Toowong KIA –thank you.

The remarkable thing is that I called in to Kia Toowong 10 days ago intending only to check out the Kia range, and not really ready to commit to any particular car at this stage. Prior to coming to your dealership on Tuesday, my son and I had already been to 3 others to test drive their small car models.
